Hollyoaks viewers horrified as Jonny Baxter brutally leads racist gang attack on Asian man

HOLLYOAKS viewers have been left “uncomfortable” after Jonny Baxter led a racist gang in a brutal attack on an Asian man in tonight’s episode.

The vile thug – who is played by actor Ray Quinn in the Channel 4 soap -beat the man with his gang for asking them politely to move their car so he could leave the pub.

Fans couldn’t stomach the scenes, but praised the soap for highlighting the dangers of far right extremism.

One wrote: “#Hollyoaks is horrid to watch right now. I know it happens but its absolutely shocking and uncomfortable to watch.”

A second said: “Don’t like this storyline @Hollyoaks absolutely no need for it. Sorry that’s the end of me watching hollyoaks and I’ve watched it from the very beginning @Channel4 #E4”
