Director Stephen Poliakoff has been accused of pressurising actress Emily Berrington into nude scenes[/caption]
But she claims director Stephen Poliakoff lost his rag and refused to stipulate in her contract what she would be required to do.
Emily, 34, who starred in the Channel 4 series Humans, ended up in tears and pulled out of the 2016 drama set in the aftermath of World War Two.
No nude scenes were ever filmed.
But speaking to The Guardian about her pre-shoot conversation with Mr Poliakoff, she claimed: “He started shouting really aggressively and saying I was being precious, and it was too difficult to work with actresses like me.
“He said, ‘With scenes like this, I shoot what I want and I show what I want’.”
Mr Poliakoff, 67, denies shouting and said: “I am sorry to hear Emily is upset.

“This is not my recollection of the conversation and, as I recall, my main purpose of the discussion — which took place a couple of months before the actual shoot — was to reassure her in a supportive way about the role.”
Emily is the latest actress to speak out about nude scenes, after Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke and The Affair’s Ruth Wilson.
The BBC said: “We take the greatest care when including intimate scenes in any drama, and we expect all our productions to work to the highest standard of integrity in this regard.”
