HOODED thugs broke into an OAP’s home before dragging her down the hallway in a violent daylight robbery.
Police are now searching for the cruel thieves who ransacked the elderly woman’s home after they broke in through the back window.
The woman, in her 80s, was left with serious injuries to her wrists after the thugs dragged her down the hallway of her home on Cannon Hill Road in Canley.
Officers have since released images of a man wearing a blue hooded jumper and black trousers they would like to speak to about the horrific robbery that unfolded on Saturday, September 22.
The home was ransacked, while a bangle the woman was wearing was taken.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: “Two men walked through a gate at the side of the house between 11.10am and 12.20pm and broke in through a rear window.
The home was ransacked by the thieves, with police now investigating[/caption]
“They ransacked the house before attacking the woman who was in her 80s.
“A bangle was taken from the woman and she was dragged down the hallway.
“She suffered serious and painful injuries to her wrist as a result.”
