Iggy Azalea has announced the cancellation of her U.S. tour.
The Australian rapper was meant to embark on her 21-city, five week tour on October 27.
She explained on Twitter on Sunday: ‘Believe me – i was really excited for this tour… and im genuinely disappointed it cant happen this year – The choice was out of my hands and not my call to make.’
Bad news: Iggy Azalea ‘genuinely disappointed’ as she confirms she has cancelled her Bad Girls U.S. tour
She continued: ‘I hope i will get to see you all in person one day. I love you.
‘All i can do is keep pushing, keep recording and keep a smile on my face.’
When a fan who had purchased tickets inquired about rescheduling, Iggy replied: ‘i was told by livenation two days ago that we would need to re-schedule tour to Q1 next year and that everyone would get refunds for these dates scheduled in 2018.’
Announcement: Iggy took to the micro blogging site to reveal her news
Staying positive: Iggy said she would ‘keep a smile on my face’
This would have been Iggy’s first U.S. tour in several years.
The 28-year-old rap star – who was born in Sydney, Australia – recently moved from Los Angeles to Atlanta.
Iggy recently revealed she’d ‘finally’ moved on from one of her ex-boyfriends, although she refused to name the person.
The Fancy hitmaker – who has dated the likes of A$AP Rocky, basketball player Nick Young, and NFL star DeAndre Hopkins – wrote: ‘Isnt the day you think about someone again and finally dont miss them anymore or give a single f**k about them (but in the kindest way possible) just the best feeling ever.
‘Its really is. wow. Its honestly such a nice feeling.’
Cancelled: This would have been Iggy’s first U.S. tour in years (seen in Canada, June 2017)
