DECLAN Donnelly made fun of Holly Willoughby’s 13-strong entourage and her I’m a Celebrity pay cheque on tonight’s show.
It was reported over the weekend that Holly, 37, has a team of 13 around her including her stylist, agent, parents and tutors for her children.
Meanwhile The Mail on Sunday claimed the star had managed to double her salary thanks to her success on the show as well as her other ITV commitments including Dancing on Ice.
Tonight, Dec couldn’t help but make a cheeky joke about the reports.
During a chat about the celebs smelling in the jungle, Dec joked he wore an aftershave called Bruce, which cost “$2 a litre”.
When Holly said she sympathised with the campmates about the heat and not smelling her best, Dec produced a bottle of perfume called Sheila.
He added: “Slightly pricier at $3 a litre but you can afford it, I’ve read how much you’re getting for this AND I’ve read all about the entourage as well.”
Holly burst out laughing as Dec pulled a cheeky face at her before the show returned to the action in camp.
It was previously reported Holly had landed the enormous pay rise thanks to her success on I’m A Celeb, after already taking home £2.5million for hosting This Morning and Dancing On Ice, as well as her part time job on Celebrity Juice.
But ratings for I’m A Celeb’s launch soared to 11.9 million from 10.2million last year after she stepped in for troubled Ant McPartlin – and she’s credited with attracting more 16 to 34-year-olds to the channel.

A source close to the star told Mail on Sunday that her salary had doubled to £5 million, saying: “ITV want to make it clear that she is theirs and they are prepared to pay her for it.
“With the exception of Ant and Dec, Holly is their most popular and well-known presenter, and they see her as their main appeal to the female market.
“She has got herself in a place where she can ask for what she wants and ITV will pay her what she is worth. Negotiations on a new contract will start imminently.”
Meanwhile Holly’s entourage includes her stylist, agent and her parents, plus Holly has also brought tutors for her three children and her own personal driver Down Under while she co-hosts the ITV reality show.
