THIS striking image of a forest football pitch has finished top of 14,000 entries in a competition to decide the best autumnal images of 2019.
The picture – titled Soccer in the Woods – gives a birds-eye view of Meshchersky Park, a recreation area just outside Moscow.
It was taken by 34-year-old drone snapper Yura Borschev.
He said: “My photography is all about aerial perspectives and although it started as just a hobby three years ago, today it is a big part of my life.
“Drone photography is my passion, I love shooting both nature and cities from great heights.”

Contest judge Christoph Seabeacher added: “It is such a creative and awesome photo of a such a curious place that could only be appreciated in this way from above.
“The colours are beautiful and the angle I believe reflects a very modern way of taking pictures which is rarely seen.”
Other outstanding entries to the contest included a stunning golden canopy formed on a tree-lined avenue in the US, and a sunrise over temples in Myanmar.
