Iron Maiden frontman could face £90m divorce ‘after leaving wife of 29 years and moving in with younger fan’

THE frontman of Iron Maiden could face a £90million divorce after leaving his wife for a younger fan, it was reported last night.

Bruce Dickinson, 61, quietly split from estranged wife Paddy Bowden last year – shacking up with fitness instructor Leana Dolci.

“Superfan” Leana, who is said to be 15 years his junior, now lives with the Run To The Hills singer at her Paris home, according to The Mirror.

Bruce could be forced to shell out half of his £90million fortune should he or Paddy – the mum of his three children – file for divorce.

A source told the paper: “Leana has always been a huge Iron Maiden fan, following them around for nearly 10 years.

“She and Bruce have got really close over the past year and she has even met his children.

“Paddy is in South America having some space from it all.”

Bruce recently confirmed in an interview that he was now living in the French capital “with my girlfriend”.

It comes four years after a cancer scare threatened Bruce’s career.

He battled stage 3 throat cancer after being told he had two tumours on his tongue.

Bruce was supported by wife Paddy and their three children – Austin, 29, Griffin, 27, and daughter Kia, 28.

He was later given the all-clear after six months of intense chemotherapy and radiation treatment.

Bruce told all about his health battle in his 2017 autobiography “What Does This Button Do?”

And he revealed to Rolling Stone magazine how surviving cancer had given him a new appreciation of life.

He said: “Living is living now, every minute, every second, for right now.”

While it’s not clear if the couple are planning a divorce, should Bruce and Paddy finalise their split, he could be liable to hand over £45million to his ex.

Bruce has been adamant about keeping his family life out of public view.

When promoting his autobiography, he told BBC Radio 2: “I think there’s a belief that that nastiness somehow sells books.

“And I’m not sure one, that it does, and two, that it’s particularly the sort of book that I want to be a part of.

“So I made the decision that, in amongst not being horrid to people, ’cause there’s no point, at the same time, I thought, well, I also don’t want to tell confidences about other people’s lives.”

Bruce and the rest of Iron Maiden still actively tour – with the singer and plane fanatic even flying them to their shows on the private Boeing 757, named “Ed Force One”.

Iron Maiden were formed in Leyton, east London, in 1975.

They have gone on to sell 80 million albums worldwide – making them one of the most successful heavy metal bands of all time.
