WE’VE got you covered ahead of another busy day of racing on ITV.
Whether you’re on your sofa or out and about at the tracks, we’ve put together a preview of the races live on TV this afternoon.
KADAR (1.50) is held in high regard by Phoenix Thoroughbreds and Karl Burke has not been shy in his thoughts on his $700,000 purchase.
He’s only run the once, but put up a bold show to take home a decent race at Haydock.
Beatboxer is favourite, but takes a big step up in class. Arthur Kitt looks the main danger, especially at this trip, after chasing home Too Darn Hot last time.
But Burke’s Scat Daddy colt looks the one to side with and he’s been well supported in the days leading up to the Group 2 Royal Lodge.
LATEST IN HORSE RACING
Off to Haydock for the next and ESCOBAR (2.05) should bounce back on Merseyside.
He’s a course and distance winner, and has dropped back to a mark when he was a taking second at Sandown.
He was unlucky in a better race at Goodwood and under Adam Kirby looks a great each way bet against the field.
Mitchum Swagger is a clear threat, but needs a lot of trust after so long off the track.

2.25 Star Rock
3.00 Main Edition
It’s hard to look past PRETTY POLLYANNA (2.25) in the first Group 1 of the day.
She’s still improving and connections have held her back for this.
She beat Signora Cabello in France last time out and there’s little to suggest John Quinn’s horse can reverse the form.
She’s short enough in the betting a a few will be taken by Fairyland at such a price.
However, she still has plenty to find in the ratings and will need to improve on her narrow York win.
JASH (3.00) could upset the odds in the Middle Park.
There’s lots to like about Aidan O’Brien’s Ten Sovereigns, but at odds-on I’m taken by Simon Crisford’s youngster.
Jash could not have done anymore in his two wins to date and I’m not taken by the Irish form at all.
Crisford tends to bring his better horses through slowly and it could be something that Jash is immediately thrown into this after his Salisbury thrashing.
Another competitive handicap at Haydock up next.
FINAL VENTURE (3.15) doesn’t win as often as he should but looks a big price.
He has to give plenty of weight away, but his form behind the likes of El Astronaute and Take Cover reads well.
He’s a course and distance winner but will desperately be praying it dries up before the off.
LATEST IN HORSE RACING
It’s the big one at Newmarket to conclude and good luck to anyone with a confident selection.
35 are due to go to post and the one I’ll throw a dart at is SHARJA BRIDGE (3.40)
He was unlucky at York last time out and looks to be a stakes horse.
The draw is anyone’s guess at this stage, but I’m not bothered that Andrea Atzeni has chosen another Sheikh Obaid runner over my fancy.
