JENNIFER Lopez broke down into “tears of joy” after President Elect Joe Biden won the heated 2020 election that dethroned Donald Trump.

The 51-year-old singer shared an emotional clip minutes hour the results from this year’s nail biting political race became official as she celebrated the “new day” for America.

On Saturday, JLo posted on her Stories to her 133 million Instagram followers moments after former vice president Biden was elected the 46th president of the United States

“So happy this morning. Echoing the words of everyone saying that we are headed toward a better day, a more united country,” she said. 

Jenny from the block then got emotional and said choked up: “I’m just crying tears of joy. 

“I hope that we can all come together and love each other and appreciate each other. It’s a new day.

“They’re saying it’s time to heal deep wounds and come together. We are the United States of America, the greatest country on this planet. 

“History is being made today for all little girls who got loud across the world,” she added as a reference to running mate and vice president elect Kamala Harris.

The former California senator became the first female, the first Black and first South Asian American vice president today.

“It is an amazing, amazing day. God bless everybody,” she concluded.

Soon after, she shared a clip of her dancing along with the caption: “PRESIDENT BIDEN!!!!!!! VICE PRESIDENT KAMALA HARRIS!!!!!!”

On election day, JLo encouraged Americans to vote with a sexy selfie and encouraged fans to cast their ballot for #BidenHarris2020. 

She also worked to get Joe elected over the Summer during a virtual sit-down with the future president and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden. 

The trio were joined by Jennifer’s fiancé, Alex Rodriguez, as they discussed ways to progress the country in a positive way – specifically for minority communities.

Following in the dancer and actress’ footsteps, Hollywood’s biggest stars went online to celebrate the historic election results. 

Chrissy Teigen took to twitter to quickly respond after news was learned as she tweeted: “My god it feels like I just took off a weighted blanket, unhooked my bra and taken out my extensions all at once.”

The model’s husband, John Legend, also reacted and said: “Congratulations to President-Elect Biden and Vice President-Elect Harris! Thank you for choosing to serve your country during these challenging times.”

They later took to the streets of West Hollywood where they cheered along with hundreds of fans from the sunroof of their car.

Lady Gaga also chimed in with: “@JoeBiden @KamalaHarris and the American people, you just gave the world one of the greatest acts of kindness and bravery humanity has ever seen.”

Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence – who admitted in the past to voting Republican – danced on the streets of NYC in her pajamas to celebrate the results.

The reactions came pouring in from numerous notable faces including Pink, who wrote: “This news has brought me to tears. I was overwhelmed with relief for this country. 

“I was overwhelmed for Kamala and the inspiration that she brings to girls everywhere.”

Stars like Cher, Bella Thorne, Ariana Grande and even Sofia Richie reacted, with the latter writing: “Currently crying and dancing. As a first time voter, I felt empowered to be involved in such an important election.
