CRISTIANO RONALDO is set open a new hotel under his CR7 brand in the French capital Paris.
The Juventus forward – still without a goal for the Old Lady – has revealed he will open a new four-star hotel that will be the largest in his Pestana CR7 chain.
It will be the sixth hotel in the 33-year-old’s joint venture with hospitality brand Pestana, with his latest establishment boasting 210 rooms.
Just like other hotels in the CR7 chain, former Real Madrid maestro Ronaldo will supply half the investment, with the other half to be paid by Pestana.
The hotel will cost a whopping £53.4million to build, and will be reportedly be situated on the Gauche River in Paris.
Pestana confirmed that the hotel will be ready for 2021, and is “currently at the preliminary stage of its licensing”.
Speaking on his upcoming project, Ronaldo said: “It makes perfect sense for the Pestana CR7 brand to be implemented in Paris.
“One of the most visited cities in the world and a destination that combines the perfect match of elegance and sophistication of the brand.”
While Jose Roquette, Chief Development Officer of the Pestana Hotel Group, added: “It is an extreme honour to see the Pestana CR7 Lifestyle Hotels brand footprint in one of the world’s top tourist destinations.
“With this achievement we duplicate the brand’s portfolio, with a focus on its international expansion, that reinforces its global visibility.”
