Kanye West plans million-dollar makeover of Wyoming ranch after fans mocked his ‘weirdly empty’ LA home

KANYE West and Kim Kardashian are renovating their £11.4million Wyoming ranch to keep in style with their minimal Los Angeles mansion.

The famous couple forked out for a second property in the heart of America’s Wild West last year after deciding to move away from their lavish Hollywood lifestyle.

However, it appears Kanye, 42, is keen on renovating the property entirely – and plans to take inspiration from their futuristic pad in LA.

A source told the Sun Online: “Kanye wants to makeover the ranch in the same style as his LA home – so it’ll be really sleek and minimal but with a nod to the Wild West.

“He’s flying out there all the time, by private jet, and it’s going to cost a fortune.

“Money is no object. It’ll be twice as expensive as the LA home as everything will have to be shipped in.”

They continued: “Kim is supportive, but it’s frustrating because any new house project Kanye puts his mind to takes a long time – and costs so much money.”

Kanye plans to work Belgian designer Axel Vervoordt and architect Claudio Silvestrin, the insider added.

The ranch – known as Monster Lake Ranch – boasts 6,713 acres of canyons, bluffs, mountains, creeks, and game hunting grounds.

It also features two heated helipads to provide year-round access.

Earlier this month, Kim, 39, and Kanye gave fans a glimpse inside their modern $60million LA mansion.

The rapper admitted the “futuristic Belgian monastery” style home was inspired by their children – daughter North, 6, son Saint, 4, daughter Chicago, 2, and eight month-old son Psalm- during an interview with Architectural Digest.

The pair – who share the home with their four children – purchased it for $20 million in 2013 before embarking on extravagant renovations which went on for four years.

However, fans have since mocked the property for its minimalist quirks and lack of furniture.
