A source told the Mirror: “People were asking her about her love life and about Pete and she wouldn’t answer – but she was happy to elaborate on her dating past.

“She swears she’s only had five boyfriends in her life.”

Kate, 45, has 19-year-old daughter Lily with former partner Michael Sheen, who she dated from 1995 to 2003.

She then married Len Wiseman in 2004 but the pair divorced in 2016.

The actress was dating 22-year-old aspiring actor Matt Rife in 2017 but their romance “fizzled out”.

Last year, she was she was spotted snogging 30-year-old British comic Jack Whitehall but their ‘romance’ wasn’t serious.

Matt advised Saturday Night Live comedian Pete to approach his new romance with caution.

Asked if he had any advice for Pete, he told TMZ: “Man to man, run. Enjoy it while you can.”

He added: “I don’t have any solid advice just be careful.”

Matt began dating the Kate in March 2017 – when he was aged 21.

The comic said of their relationship: “We dated for a year and it was complicated, for sure. [There were] a lot of ups and downs but she’s moved on and I’m happy.

The MTV star also said there was “not a chance” he would get back with the Underworld beauty if her romance with Pete failed.

Matt’s warning comes after The Sun Online exclusively revealed that Kate is “head over heels” for the Saturday Night Live star.

The loved up pair had a VERY public kiss at a hockey game at New York’s Madison Square Garden earlier this week, and now friends say they’re making things official.

“They’re getting serious. It’s officially a relationship now,” the insider told us.
