Britain’s Katie Boulter has battled past Barbora Krejcikova to book her place in the quarter-finals of the Tianjin Open.
The 22-year-old, who upset eighth-seed Maria Sakkari in the previous round, raced ahead to claim the first set after just over half an hour on court.
The second set was much less straightforward, however, and Boulter lost three service games in a row as her opponent levelled the match.

The pair went on to exchange breaks at the start of the third, and the set remained on even terms until the Briton edged ahead at 5-3 and served out the match to win 6-3, 1-6, 6-3.
Boulter, who is the world No 101, will now face the No 1 seed and world No 6 Karolina Pliskova in the last eight.
Pliskova, a former world No 1 and grand slam finalist at the 2016 US Open, defeated Polona Hercog 6-1, 6-2 to advance.
