A man has been shot several times in the night from Friday to Saturday in the city centre of la Seyne-sur-Mer (Var), a-t-on learned from police source and from the town hall. According to Var matin, the man, 27-year-old, who was inside a vehicle, shots were fired a burst of Kalashnikov to 00: 30.
Since the beginning of the year, 14 people died in the settling of scores linked to drug trafficking in the marseille region. If this new death appears to be related to a settlement of account – that the police did not want to confirm for now – the number of identified victims in seven months has exceeded that of the year 2017, which left 14 people dead. In 2016, 29 people had died for this reason.

The anger of the mayor of La-Seyne-sur-Mer
“This cannot continue ! (…) I understand the concern of my constituents and I share their anger,” responded in a press release the mayor of La Seyne-sur-Mer, Marc Vuillemot (PS), announces that it has sent a new letter to the Prime minister asking him to include “means for the police and the justice system” as well as “prevention”.
The municipal official recalled that he had sent a previous mail on the 29th of June to the head of the government, left without an answer, in which he requested a hearing in view of the growing seriousness of a situation that enkyste sustainably”.
“My bitterness will, of course, to the place of the initiators of the traffic and of the authors of the shots of warnings of reprisals, or of the regulations of the accounts. But my exasperation is also aimed at public authority of the State that I alert in vain for months,” he says on his blog.
