LEEDS star Samuel Saiz has been arrested for alleged match fixing in La Liga, according to reports.
Reports in Spain claim members of a criminal organisation who tamper with matches in both the first and the second division and bet on results have been jailed.
Leeds’ Saiz, who spent the season on loan at Getafe, is said to be one of a number of footballers caught up in the scandal.
Former Real Madrid defender Raul Bravo is claimed to be the ringleader of the group.
Real Valladolid’s Borja Fernandez, Spanish veteran Carlos Aranda and Deportivo La Coruna’s Inigo Montana have also been arrested.
As have Agustin Lasaosa, the president of La Liga side Huesca, who were relegated this season, and head of his medical staff, Galindo Lanuza.
