They go into tonight’s crunch clash without the likes of Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino.

And some supporters have been looking for any means possible to help Jurgen Klopp’s men achieve the impossible and reach the final in Madrid.

A video shows some lighting fireworks outside the Hilton hotel in the city centre on Monday evening.

And one can be heard saying they are “a wake-up call for Mr Messi.”

Whether the tactics work remains to be seen, with many struggling to see a way for Liverpool to overturn the huge scoreline against Barcelona.

The Reds are also on course for a trophy-less Premier League season too.

Manchester City reclaimed top spot last night with a 1-0 win over Leicester.

Man City travel to Brighton while Liverpool host Wolves.
