THE long wait is finally over and Love Island returns to our screens TONIGHT (June 3, 3019).
But what will happen on this evening’s launch show? And what changes have been thi series? Here is the lowdown.
What will happen on Love Island tonight?
Tonight’s show will kick off at 9pm on ITV2
The launch show always sees the first set of couples put together.
Each year either the girls will choose or the boys – this year is the boys turn for picking.
This means all five of the girls will stand in a line, and each boy will come out in turn.
The girls will then step forward if they like the boy and then he will pick his favourite girl.
He can still chose a girl who didn’t step forward for him.
As there are seven boys and five girls, two boys will not be in a couple, meaning they will have to crack on to make sure they are not first to leave the villa.

The show also appears to have taken steps towards more body diversity.
Iranian Instagram star Anna Vikili has a noticeably curvier frame than her fellow contestants.
