LOVE Island’s Curtis DID teach Amy Hart to dance “every day” in the famous villa – but producers cut the scenes from the show.
Curtis, 23, was painted out to be the bad guy after the couple split and he taught sexy Maura Higgins, 28, how to dance the very next day.
Viewers were left outraged at Curtis and 200 people even complained to Ofcom after they saw Amy, 26, erupt into tears nearby.
Scorned Amy had claimed to the girls that she’d been desperate to dance with Curtis for two weeks but he’d refused to teach her any moves and called Curtis a “p**k” in a fit of rage.
But in an exclusive chat with Sun Online, Strictly star AJ Pritchard said Amy fessed up to him and the air-hostess claimed show bosses cut the key scenes to ramp up the drama.
The pair met on Aftersun last week, and he told us: “She did say that Curtis did teach her to dance every day and we didn’t see that.
Amy was sent for therapy sessions when she was seen extremely emotional after her relationship with Curtis crumbled[/caption]
“They did actually dance together but it wasn’t shown on TV. I thought, ‘Oh that’s so annoying.’”
Amy was even whisked off for therapy to help cope with her heartbreak after she claimed she’d fallen in love with Curtis – but was replaced by Maura.
Now AJ has backed his brother to win the show with grid girl Maura and insisted they’ll become the King and Queen of Love Island.
He said: “I think they make a great couple, the fact they are there on the island it is a perfect holiday romance.
“They will definitely become the King and Queen of Love Island that’s for sure. I’m just throwing this out there but the strongest couple is going to be Curtis and Maura.”
And with only a couple weeks left of the series there’s everything to play for.

AJ experienced his own day as an ‘islander’ to celebrate the launch of The Sims 4 Island Living game for PC.
He told us: “So many people use this game to be themselves and be relaxed and get away from the world they may not be so happy with, and find their own world in Sims.
“That’s the secret to being happy and being yourself. This game helps so many different people on so many different levels.”
