LOVE Island star Millie’s dad wanted to “dive in and hug her” as she broke down in tears over Liam’s bed-hopping hell.
She was left devastated as 22-year-old Geordie lass Lillie told how she and Liam had kissed behind her back and shared a bed together in Friday night’s explosive love triangle episode on the ITV2 show.

The bombshell revelation — just minutes after Millie and Liam, who had spent days apart, shared a happy reunion — left Millie heartbroken and plunged the villa into chaos.
“I wanted to dive into the TV tonight and just cuddle My Girl real tight. #itwillbeokdarling,” Millie’s dad Rob Court wrote on Facebook.
“Mils will shed her tears and it is difficult for me to helplessly watch. But I know deep down nothing will diminish her beautiful smile long term, she is too much of a ‘Happy Soul’.
“Millie has a large loving family and a fab group of friends behind her for support. We are all so proud of her. XX”
Millie’s father also said people should still “be kind” to others online and thanked fans for their continuous support.
He continued: “I would also like to say…please be kind to all participants of the show with your comments online, they have feelings, families and friends too. #bekindplease
“THANK YOU ALL for the support you have shown towards my Daughter Millie since her entrance to the villa. She will be so thrilled to read it all when she comes out.
“Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.”
Speaking about the love triangle for the first time, Lillie admitted she saw red after walking into the villa to see Liam cuddling up to his unsuspecting other half.
And she said she told the truth in a bid to stop unsuspecting Millie being taken in by Liam’s lies.
Lillie said last night: “When I found out Liam hadn’t chosen me, I felt misled. He’d been giving me what I wanted to hear and I was convinced he was the one.
“He made me feel as if I had a really strong chance of going back to the villa with him. He was very hands-on — we were like a couple in there.
“So I definitely thought I was going to get picked. When he chose to go back alone, I was shocked.
“Then when I walked into the villa with the other girls, I didn’t like how Liam had Millie’s necklace and his arm around her after how he’d been with me.
“It wouldn’t have been nice of me to stand there and let her be happy and lovey, thinking: ‘Oh, he’s come back’ when she was being mugged off.
“So I spoke up as one girl to another — I wasn’t staying in the villa to say my piece, so I wanted to say something to put a question mark in Millie’s head about him.
“Because he is going to have to say something about what happened between us. And I don’t know if it’s going to be the whole truth.
“I didn’t do it to cause drama or be petty, but I wanted her to know to be a bit wary of him. I had nothing to lose and nothing to gain at that point.”
Fans were stunned last week when Welsh bricklayer Liam, 21, gave in to temptation by snogging Lillie during a “lads holiday” at Casa Amor — while Millie was left behind in the main TV villa.
But reappearing in the villa alone on Friday night, Liam clutched Millie’s favourite Sagittarius necklace and said it felt “amazing” to be back.
To Millie’s delight, he said: “The time apart was hard but I’m back where I belong. It makes you realise where your heart is and mine has been up in this villa the whole time.”
But her relief turned to horror minutes later when Lillie walked into the villa and told of her shock that she had been dumped by Liam after their steamy clinches.
She said they shared a “good connection, very 50/50” and added: “The actions were pretty equal — sharing a bed together, kissing outside of challenges.”
At the close of Friday night’s episode, which was watched by three million people, fashion buying administrator Millie was seen still reeling from Lillie’s bombshell.
She went on: “Millie is an absolutely lovely girl and I’m so upset that she got upset in the situation. I never intended to hurt her feelings.
“I just threw myself into the show and the experience and I thought I’d found a real connection in there and I thought that was real and true and I was going back.
“Maybe if I didn’t think I was going back I would have handled things a little bit differently.
“I hope Millie comes round because I think they do genuinely really like each other.”
