Love Island’s Molly-Mae shows off dramatic shorter hair after being accused of copying Lucie Donlan

LOVE Island star Molly-Mae Hague has shown off her dramatic shorter hair after being accused of copying Lucie Donlan.

The 20-year-old raised eyebrows after wearing the exact same swimsuit and hair as Lucie while on holiday in Barbados.

Yet since arriving back in the UK she’s ditched the look for shorter hair, which she debuted on Instagram.

She captioned: the pic: “So this happened. Hey winter hair…”

Her Love Island pals Amber and Maura both said they “love” the new look, with many fans agreeing.

One person wrote: “genuinely thought this was khloe kardashian! I now want to cut my hair off haha.”

Another added: “wow this is beautiful”.

A third said: “Wow you look so much like Khloe kardashian in this!!! Beautiful”.

The pair fell out on Love Island over Lucie fancying Molly’s boyfriend Tommy Fury.

However, it wasn’t just a taste in men they have in common, but also looks.

While soaking the sun in Barbados, the influencer wore a zip-up black and white one-piece with buckle waist, which Lucie posed in before.

She also wore her hair in loose waves – a look similar to Lucie’s too.

During their stint on the ITV2 show, Lucie was initially coupled with Tommy before she left him for Joseph Garratt – her current boyfriend.

Despite that she continually admitted she still fancied Tommy even when he told her he was happy with Molly-Mae.

Since leaving the villa they have made it clear they are no longer mates and both failed to attend each other’s fashion launches.

Speaking about her relationship with Molly-Mae, Lucie told the Sun: “No one really speaks to her. A lot of people are doing their own thing.

“I guess they’re concentrating on their future and stuff which is really good and it’s nice to see them doing really well.

“I guess it’s such a shame we don’t keep in touch as much as we all should.”

When asked about the comments, Molly-Mae told the Metro: “Yeah, not really, because it’s not the case. I do still see the people that I was close with in the villa and Lucie and I weren’t close in the villa.

“So she would say that because I’d say the same about her because we don’t speak, we weren’t close. And obviously circumstances just mean that we’re not close like that.

“So it didn’t surprise me an article like that came out because it is the case, we don’t speak.”
