Deputies with the Napa County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release they arrested Rogers for possession of illegal assault rifles, automatic weapons, and five pipe bombs.

He also had more than 15,000 rounds of ammunition on him, several pounds of gunpowder and bomb making material.

Police issued the search warrants after the department obtained a tip about Roger’s “illegal” guns.

More than 50 guns – a handful of them unregistered or illegal – were discovered in Roger’s house by investigators.

“The Napa County Sheriff’s Bomb Squad located 5 pipe bombs inside a safe at Mr. Rogers business,” police revealed.

“All 5 pipe bombs were rendered safe by the NSO Bomb Squad.”

Rogers owns a business on the 1600 Block of Action Avenue, police said.

His business was identified as the British Auto Repair of the Napa Valley, according to the Napa Valley Register.

The sheriff’s office has not revealed what Rogers intended to use the weapons for.

However, sheriff’s spokesman Henry Wofford said authorities are “not ruling out anything” in regards to Roger’s stockpile being connected to pro-Trump protests, the Laredo Morning Times reported.

Rogers is being held on $5million bail at the Napa County Department of Corrections.

He is facing five felonies and one misdemeanor.
