MO SALAH kick-started his pre-season with a goal inside 52 seconds as Liverpool beat Manchester City in New Jersey.

The Egyptian star put his Champions League final and World Cup disappointment behind him to hit the ground running at MetLife Stadium.

Salah came on for the last half hour and scored straight away to equalise after Leroy Sane had given Manchester City the lead moments earlier.

And Sadio Mane struck a late winner from the penalty spot after Dominic Solanke was brought down.
