MANCHESTER CITY have turned down a bid from Inter Milan for Danilo – as its nearly £10m away from their valuation.
The 27-year-old Brazilian is out-of-favour under Pep Guardiola, and has been told he can leave this summer for the right price.
It is understood the ex-Real Madrid full-back is keen on a switch to the Italian giants, who now have Antonio Conte as their boss.
But the two teams are not close in terms of value, with Inter’s initial £13.25m offer being instantly rejected by City.
The Etihad side are demanding around £22.5m for Danilo, with talks still on-going between the two clubs.
A source said: “There is confidence that the deal will go well. The two clubs have a good working relationship.
“There are other Premier League and teams abroad interested in him. Inter are making quick moves though.
“He sees them as a very good option for his future and he will say yes to joining them. Now it’s just the price.”
Guardiola is willing to wait and hold out for the right cash over the next few weeks before giving the sale the go-ahead.

Chelsea outcast Victor Moses is one player on their shortlist having worked under Conte while he was at the Blues.
City are expected to use the money made on Danilo to invest in Juventus star Cancelo, in a £50m-plus deal.
