Speaking of the gesture last month, skipper Vincent Kompany said: “The support from our fans throughout the season has been nothing short of incredible.

“Travelling to so many games in league and cup competitions, both home and away, is not easy to do and is something that every player in our squad values and appreciates.

“We still have so much to fight for this season, and this is our way of saying thank you to them for being with us every step of the way.”

Each of the 26 coaches was personalised with fans travelling receiving a signed photo from the player that funded the coach.

City are on course to become the first English side to win the domestic treble having already won the Premier League and Carabao Cup this season.

Should Pep Guardiola’s men win the FA Cup, the squad will share £20million in bonuses.

The title bonuses are a 25 per cent increase on what Guardiola’s men pocketed after winning the league last year.

City haven’t won the FA Cup since 2011 where they beat Stoke in the final, while they lost in the final against Wigan in 2013.

Guardiola has declared he is ready to drop his star men should their standards drop against Watford at Wembley.
