Smiling, the princess Mary of Denmark has given, this Thursday 23 August 2018, the kick-off of the Copenhagen Cooking & Food Festival (Festival of the kitchen and the diet of Copenhagen).
Wearing a dress blue turquoise print black animal designer Danish Charlotte Sparre, the young wife of 42 years, gave a speech during the inaugural evening. It was the House of industry, the headquarters of Dansk Industri (the confederation of Danish industries).
Mary is very involved in the food issues
This annual event, of which she is the godmother, it takes particularly to heart, since there is a question of power. The daughter-in-law of French origin to queen Margrethe II has been investing in this theme for several years. The mother of prince Henrik and princess Athena is particularly active in the fight against food waste. A commitment for which she had been interviewed within the framework of a story broadcast last November on “France 2” and which dealt with the example of Denmark in this area.
