MARK Wright jetted home from Los Angeles to surprise his family but “couldn’t wait” to be reunited with wife Michelle Keegan.

A source told The Sun Online: “Mark flew in from LA and was in Essex to see his parents for just 24 hours before flying up to Manchester where Michelle’s filming. He couldn’t wait to be reunited with her.”

The couple then travelled 44 miles to Leeds and celebrated his brother Josh’s birthday with all the family.

The source added: “They went out to his brother’s birthday in Leeds last night.

“They spend every second they can together when they’re not working.”

The reality star turned TV presenter has seen his career soar after becoming one of America’s top entertainment reporters.

But he has defended his long distance relationship with Michelle before, revealing the couple are planning to have children together.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online following his debut presenting role on This Morning in August, he said living in Los Angeles for a year has made him so homesick he’s keen to get started.

Mark, who married Michelle, also 31, in 2015, said they’ve already thought about having children but have never been able to find time in their hectic work schedules.

But now it seems that’s all about to change.

Mark explained: “We say we’re going to try [for a baby] every year but something comes up with work. So it’ll be Michelle filming in South Africa and then I got the job in Los Angeles – so we think, right, we’ll try next year.

“It’ll be around December or January, we’ll talk about it and we’ll go from there.

“With kids, I used to want three or four. But now, I’m 31, we’re not having kids any time before 32. I think we could have two or three. Twins would be great because you’re getting two out of the way at once!

“Triplets would be even better! And if we have quadruplets we’d be laughing because we’d have them all in one go!”

Now a top US TV host, Mark’s making waves in the entertainment world interviewing the world’s biggest stars, with This Morning bosses scrambling to snap him up as presenter on his return.

His debut on the hit ITV daytime show today went down a storm with fans who praised the telly hunk for his relaxed style and hilarious one-liners. And for Mark, it couldn’t have gone any better either, with him admitting he cried tears of joy when he came off air.
