PRINCE Harry and Meghan Markle will be formally stripped of their HRH titles next year, a royal expert has predicted.
Although the runaway royals stepped down from royal duties in March, repaid they Frogmore Cottage debts to the taxpayer and stopped receiving royal handouts, they retained their royal HRH status.
In March next year the pair are due to meet with the Queen to discuss how Megxit has gone so far and work out how the couple’s relationship with the royal family will continue going forward.
Now one royal expert has predicted the Queen will use the crunch March meeting to strip the pair of their Duchy of Sussex, preventing them from being addressed a Royal Highness and formalising them as private citizens.
Royal commentator Dr Anna Whitelock said that Prince William being given Harry’s former role of Captain General of the Royal Marines is the clearest indicator yet that Harry is out of the royal fold forever.
As such, Dr Whitelock is convinced the March meeting will primarily focus on formally removing the couple’s royal titles and privileges and discussing the boundaries of their future media and business ventures
