MEGHAN Markle is keen to give Baby Sussex a name “steeped in royal history”, the bookies believe.
Alexander is now the front runner for the little lad’s name, after punters placed a flurry of bets last night – following Prince Harry’s televised announcement about having a baby boy.

“We have been knocked over with bets on Alexander since the baby was born.
“And it is easy to see why punters are backing it as it is a name which is steeped in history – all the way back to Alexander the Great,” Coral’s John Hill told Fabulous Digital.
The name is also that of America’s Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, whose self-titled musical has been a smash hit on both Broadway and London’s West End.
Meghan and Harry watched Hamilton back in December, when they were already expecting their little lad, so it could be close to their hearts – and offers a nod to both of their home countries.
