French magazine L’Obs broke the news on Saturday morning.

They report that a source ‘close to the case’ values the damage at £1.3m (€1.5m) – although the police have not confirmed that amount and say it is too early to accurately give a figure.

Lyon lost 1-0 to Nice, with Patrick Vieira’s side picking up their first win of the season.
