Michelle Keegan pokes fun at her fringe in hilarious throwback pics from school

MICHELLE Keegan has poked fun at herself after hilarious school throwbacks posted on social media reemerged.

Taken long before she became a telly sweetheart, the actress can be seen in one old snap sporting what she describes as a “spider fringe”.

Michelle pouts for the camera as she poses with a school pal Robyn Skillen as they both wear aprons over their uniforms in what appears to be a home economics class.

The girls both wear their hair in the same style with it scraped back into a ponytail and cute fringes, with Michelle tweeting: “#spiderfringes”.

The pair, who attended St Patrick’s Roman Catholic High School in Manchester during the 90s, are still friends.

In another snap, Michelle is seen posing along with her family on a climbing frame in the garden wearing a cropped vest, low-rise jeans and a funky belt.

Sharing the snap, originally posted by a friend on Twitter back in 2013 when she just started in Corrie, she cringed: “Go my god I look horrendous!!! Hahaha! X’ (sic)”.

A former pupil, Abbie Caswell, also shared an official class photo where Michelle can be seen sitting in the front, smiling for the camera, with her dark hair style in a poker-straight side parting.

Tweeting the pic directly to Michelle, Abbie wrote: “Your year 11 picture was in the hall in my old school, u still look mint back then.”

The 31-year-old responded: “HA! X”

Last night, she gave fans a behind-the-scenes glimpse of life on the Our Girl set as the series ended this week.
