NXIVM boss Keith Raniere says he fears he’ll be ‘killed’ in prison – in recordings made in jail where Epstein found dead

NXIVM boss Keith Raniere says he fears he’ll be killed in prison in a series of recordings made from the same jail where Epstein was found dead in his prison cell.

The sex cult leader, who was sentenced last month to 120 years in prison, claims he will die if he is relegated to the general population of a maximum-security prison.

Raniere currently languishes at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center for a string of heinous crimes including forcing women into sexual slavery and child porn material.

As he awaits his fate for a permanent prison placement, he spoke to investigative journalist Frank Parlato –  the man widely credited with destroying Nxivm and bringing Raniere to justice.

In the recorded conversations, the 60-year-old describes life behind bars as a “dangerous situation” whilst maintaining other prisoners are plotting his murder.

In one recording, Raniere describes an unnamed man, possibly with Latin Kings or MS-13 gang connections, whom he believes wants him murdered.

…to have me killed, to have me destroyed. To have me, whatever… the worst thing you can imagine.

“So here you have a man who’s used to and he’s notorious for being vicious,” Raniere tells Parlato in audio uploaded to the Frank Report.

“And he told various people he would put as much money as necessary, literally hundreds of millions of dollars to have me put in jail for the rest of my life, to have me killed, to have me destroyed. To have me, whatever… the worst thing you can imagine,” he adds.

Raniere continues to predict that once he goes to a penitentiary, he will not live long.

“Yeah, I’m looking, you know, I’ll be in here the rest of my life if we don’t do something. The rest of my life may not be that long,” he says. “Considering the way things are in here, you know, once I get to a destination point, I guess I’ll go to a pen.”

With series sex offense charges hanging over him, Raniere believes the nature of the crimes will make him a target in prison.

“With these charges and if I’m sentenced to life and go to a penitentiary, it is a death penalty,” he explains.

…Once they designate me and either ship me off to the Supermax or ship me off to a pen, things become dangerous for me. And you guys may never get to speak to me again, for all I know.

Just last week, the disgraced guru alluded that the situation was so dangerous he may never be seen again.

“And right now, over the next month to two months is a real countdown for me, because once they designate me and either ship me off to the Supermax or ship me off to a pen, things become dangerous for me. And you guys may never get to speak to me again, for all I know,” he says.

SEX CULT LEADER

Raniere is accused of running a sinister master-slave group called DOS at the heart of NXIVM, where women were starved, branded on their groins, coerced into sexual acts and made to hand over damaging collateral such as naked pictures.

On October 27, he was sentenced to life in prison for exploiting victims as head of NXIVM – a sex cult masquerading as self-help group.

Raniere created a secret sorority within the cult called DOS, which involved female “slaves” turning over nude photos and other compromising materials to blackmail them if they tried to leave, lawyers said.

He was also accused by prosecutors of having a sexual relationship with a girl starting when she was 15, and who later became part of his inner circle of DOS slaves.

The woman made an impact statement in court which read: “While he hid our sexual relationship from others, he explained it to me by telling me that I was very mature for my age. And I know now that it was false – I was a child.

“He used my innocence to do whatever he wanted with me – not just sexually but also psychologically.”

Prosecutors said he kept nude photos of the girl, which are the basis of the child pornography charge.

His attorney has since asked a judge to recommend that Raniere be assigned a prison with a drop-out yard, where he would be with other prisoners who need protective custody because of the nature of their crimes, their celebrity, or the fact that they are informants.

Raniere was found guilty of two counts of sex trafficking, racketeering and coerced labor conspiracy in 2019.

He was arrested in March of 2018 by Mexican officials in Puerto Vallarta, where he fled when the group’s sordid activities were exposed.
