PAUL POGBA will eye a return to Juventus if Manchester United fail to qualify for the Champions League, according to reports.
Despite the Red Devils’ remarkable turnaround under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, they currently sit one point behind Arsenal who occupy fourth spot.
Pogba, 25, is one of the players who has returned to top form under the Norwegian boss.
But Italian publication TuttoSport believe he will head for the exit door if they fail in their bid to join Europe’s elite competition.
They add that Pogba would not be willing to play Europa League football yet again as they did under former boss Jose Mourinho in 2017.
Juventus would happily welcome back the Frenchman following his four years there from 2012.
The Italian champions kick-started his career before flogging him back to United for £89million.
And the rumours are only echoed by Gary Neville’s thoughts that Pogba will plot an escape route alongside his agent.
He said: “His agent will be in his ear and he will want his little move. This is only three months of football out of two years.
“My personal worry is his agent will be into him to say we need to get over there or… that’s my worry.”

United will do everything in their power to keep him and are even prepared to offer him the club captaincy.
With Antonio Valencia braced to leave in the summer, the armband will become vacant and Solskjaer wants Pogba to take the role.
He has been impressed with the midfielder’s leadership skills – something he showcased in Les Bleus’ World Cup triumph despite him not wearing the armband.
