Guardiola wears a baggy suit at odds with the slim-fit, custom-made outfits he is famed for today.

And the grainy footage from a bash believed to have been thrown back in 1998 – when the Spaniard was playing for Barcelona – is actually an interesting insight into his character.

Pep, 47, is known as an intense obsessive these days.

But back then the ex-Bayern Munich boss appears without a care in the world as he dances with the wife of then-Barca team-mate Jose Mari Bakero.

Guardiola rubs his nose up against her face and his hand over his pal’s head – after he tells him to sit down.

Viewers online were split on whether Guardiola had good moves, however, with one comparing his style to that of Borat.

Another posted: “He may not know how to dance but he knows how to make others do it in matches.”

A fellow user said simply: “Superb.”

One commented: “The head to head bit reminds me of when he goes onto the field at the end of the match to tell Sterling or Sane that they played amazing.”

Another user said: “What a man.”

Guardiola has always had a humble, down-to-earth side, despite being hailed by Jurgen Klopp as the world’s best coach.

SunSport showed you Guardiola arriving at training in a £28,000 electric Nissan Leaf, even though he pockets £12million a year.

And he takes his Premier League leaders to Lyon tonight in the Champions League looking to seal top spot in Group F.

But Guardiola does so amid an injury crisis that has seen him back Phil Foden to shine when it matters most.
