Peppa Pig World – the UK’s newly-crowned top theme park has 2 new rides this summer

PAULTONS Park, home to Peppa Pig World, has been crowned the best theme park in the UK in the 2018 TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards.

To make it even better, it has two new rides open this summer, The Queen’s Flying Coach Ride and Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club.

Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club is a water ride that the whole family will enjoy
The ride will take families on a cruise where they can spot Peppa Pig and her friends

The Queen’s Flying Coach Club will see guests starting at the top of the Queen’s Castle, and getting a bird’s-eye view of the park as they glide on monorail.

Sat in a carriage, the ride- which is open to children of all ages, including babies – will show all the rides from up above.

There’s also the new Grampy Rabbit’s Sailing Club, a water ride at the base of the Queen’s Castle where children can discover Pirate Island.

Families sit in a covered raft that takes them along a waterway, spotting Peppa and the Queen as they sail past. Click here to book tickets.

The rides are the first new ones to open since the park opened in 2011.

Paulton’s Park has been named the best theme park in the UK, and there’s no doubt as to why.

Also home to dinosaur theme park Lost Kingdom, there’s no shortage of fun activities for the whole family to enjoy at Paultons Park.

One reviewer said: “This park is excellent, there is so much to do. Our first day was spent entirely in Peppa Pig World, which has lots of great rides for the little ones and everything is so well maintained and spotless.

“On the second day we went to other areas of the park, including Lost Kingdom and Critter Creek. We still didn’t cover everything because we wanted to end up back in Peppa Pig World again.”

While Drayton Manor and Blackpool Pleasure Beach also featured on the list, much of the top ten was made up of smaller amusement parks, like The Milky Way Adventure Park in Devon and Sundown Adventureland in Nottinghamshire.

This week, parents have been warned about a WhatsApp scam this week that offers five free passes to Peppa Pig World – here’s how to avoid getting conned.

We went down to Peppa Pig World for the day to test it out ourselves.
