PETER Andre has begged ex Katie Price to beat her demons for the sake of their kids.
The Mysterious Girl singer, 45, is “desperate” to get the glamour mum help.
A source told the Star on Sunday: “At the moment there’s no plans for the way Pete and Katie share custody of the kids to change, or anything like that.
“But he desperately wants her to get better for Princess and Junior.
“There’s real concern that Katie doesn’t even realise how bad the situation has got.
“Whether it’s Katie being in denial or not, Peter doesn’t know if she’ll ever wake up to the reality of it all.”
Katie, 40, has been receiving treatment at the facility following her drink-drive arrest earlier this month.
Last week, Pete said Katie has the “devil inside her” when she was drunk.
A pal of Katie’s told the paper: “Obviously Peter’s wife Emily is a doctor so there’s very real concern on that side about Katie’s well-being, never mind the kids.
“A rehab with a curfew that Katie could come and go was never going to work.
“The freaky thing is Katie always said she’d die young – she actually said to me she’d die driving into a tree of something.
“It’s understandable that Pete is desperately worried about the impact this is having on their children.”
Yesterday, we revealed how Katie was all smiles as she hugged her mum Amy during an emotional reunion outside The Priory.
Wearing a bright yellow hoodie and navy trousers, Katie beamed as she walked towards Amy – who has been diagnosed with terminal lung disease idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis – before the two women shared a long hug.

Her happy demeanour is in stark contrast to earlier in the week, when it was revealed Katie was in tears at the thought of losing her Sussex mansion after finding herself on the brink of bankruptcy.
Sources say the star is struggling with the reality of the situation and is upset at the prospect of having to seriously downsize after being spotted house hunting earlier this week.
Katie was given 12 weeks to stave off financial ruin in August, despite the public thinking she had cash to spare.
