PIERS Morgan and Susanna Reid left fans furious today after they discovered the pair are taking three weeks off Good Morning Britain.
Piers’ stand-in Richard Madeley apologised for their absence, telling viewers: “Speaking about sleeping in, I’m afraid that’s what Piers’ is doing right now. You’re stuck with me for three weeks.”
But people at home weren’t satisfied, as one moaned: “@#where are u and @ this morning??
Another wrote: “So boring without Piers and Susanna.”
However, one mused: “Missing Piers, but think Richard fills the gap nicely.”
On Friday, Susanna revealed the pair were having a break ahead of hosting the show from the Oscars later this month, and she wrote on Twitter: “Sadly, our last morning together for three weeks…”
Last night, Piers was busy mouthing off on Twitter – slamming the BAFTAS.
The legendary host wrote from his home in Los Angeles: “Can somebody at #BAFTAs2019 make us laugh?
“A good joke, saying something really stupid, offending the royals, tumbling off the stage – anything. This is tortuous.”
He paid special mention to BAFTAS host Joanna Lumley after she made a number of unfortunate gaffes.
He added: “Jeez, who wrote these jokes for Joanna Lumley? This is a train wreck”
