Piers Morgan STILL not replaced in ITV’s new Daytime TV trailer as Susanna Reid and Kate Garraway lead stars

PIERS Morgan has not been replaced in ITV’s new Daytime TV trailer – after reports staff at Good Morning Britain are desperate to get him back.

The promo clip features the regular presenting line-up with no new faces as Susanna Reid and Kate Garraway lead the way.

Good Morning Britain has released a new trailer ahead of Susanna Reid returning from her summer break[/caption]

The dazzling advert shows Ranvir Singh, Charlotte Hawkins, Ben Shephard, Richard Arnold, Laura Tobin, Dr Amir Khan, and Dr Hilary Jones grinning on set.

The trailer was shared on GMB’s Twitter earlier today with the caption: “The only way to start your day off right!

“September means a new season and the team will be here, leading the conversation and asking the questions you want to know ⏰🌅

One fan replied: “Great promo..roll on September”

But many noted Piers’ absence and one said: “You need to decide are you a serious news program or a chat show? Piers brought the serious news and debates to the program but since leaving it’s gone down hill it’s not worth watching. A complete overhaul needed.”

One more remarked: “All well showing this until you get a presenter who will really interrogate certain guests no point watching the show, too nicey nicey for me”

Another made a dig at Susanna and asked why she hadn’t been nominated for a National Television Award.

Where is he?

They said: “Focusing on Susanna as ever! Didn’t go too well in the NTA awards. Only one short listed is Kate and not for GMB. Oh hang on, Piers did. Where is he?”

Piers couldn’t help boasting about his nomination on Twitter this week after finding out he’s up for his first solo National Television Award (NTA) for best presenter.

The TV firebrand – who stepped down from Good Morning Britain for refusing to apologise to the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle – shared the news with his 7.9million followers.

He also dubbed Meghan ‘Princess Pinocchio’ in the tweet and joked he’d ask her to collect his prize for him.

He wrote: “Most amused to finally be nominated for TV Presenter of the Year at the ⁦@OfficialNTAs – though could be a tad #awks for ITV if I win for my work on ⁦@GMB.

“Might have to pull a Brando and send Princess Pinocchio along to receive it on my behalf.”

The TV star will face off against Holly Willoughby, Bradley Walsh, Alison Hammond and Ant and Dec in the best presenter category.
