She made her first public appearance with Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish over the weekend after she has reportedly been dating her for several months.
So naturally, her Good Morning Britain co-host Piers Morgan, 53, couldn’t help but poke fun at the 47-year-old when he returned to the show on Monday after a short break, despite reports that he actually introduced them to one another in New York two years ago.
He teased: ‘So many interesting things I had to catch up on. Well, when the cat is away.’

‘Handsome, wealthy, successful, big passion for London football club… I was reading all this and thinking God she’s come out!’
‘I’ve gone public with my passion for you,’ Susanna said playfully.

He’s not shy@: Piers then gave viewers some behind the scenes information when he revealed Susanna had tried to bribe him with champagne that morning to ‘be kind’ on the show when it came to her new romance
Susanna and Steve were spotted heading to the stadium prior to the Premier League match between Fulham FC and Crystal Palace at Craven Cottage in August.
MailOnline has contacted representatives for both Susanna and Steve for comment.
Susanna separated from her partner Dominic Cotton in 2014, after being with him since 1998, and following her appearance on Strictly Come Dancing in 2013.
She’s been a single mother to sons Sam, 16, Finn, 14, and Jack, 13 since splitting with her ex in 2014 after 16 years together.
They never married, a legacy of what Susanna has previously described as a ‘choppy childhood’ following her parents’ divorce.

Her relationship was rumoured to have been put under strain after the BBC moved its breakfast show to Media City in Salford in 2012.
There were then cries of the ‘Strictly curse’ when they announced their split soon after Susanna’s gloriously frisky performance in a 2013 runner-up turn with pro dancer Kevin Clifton (she denied the dance show had anything to do with it).
Today, she and Dominic are good friends and ‘fairly relaxed parents’ to their sons, who she describes as ‘pretty chilled guys.’
Susanna revealed last week that she is ready to start dating again, and also said that she aimed to see several suitors at the same time.
In an exclusive interview in You magazine, she exclaimed: ‘I’m back in the game! I’m definitely open to dating again. This is the right time.
‘The great thing about what’s happened in 2018, and everyone will have seen it on Love Island, is you don’t have to date exclusively any more.’
However, her modern approach doesn’t extend to using internet dating or apps such as Tinder. She says: ‘Oh my God, I’m not online. It doesn’t feel like the right thing for me.’
After her split from Dominic, she had not sought a new partner but concentrated on bringing up their sons.
‘I’ve spent a significant amount of time since the split focused on the children and on work,’ she says. But now they are teenagers she feels ready to resume dating.
