INFOGRAPHIC OF the DAY – What foods known for their high content of sugar or fat like most of the French ?
The box of chocolates is well placed to remain a sure value in terms of gifts. Certainly classic and not very original (even if the pastry chefs do their utmost for the revisit), it should delight its recipient, since 99 % of the French say they eat it regularly or occasionally, reports on a survey conducted by the Fifg for Naturasanté. Conducted on a representative sample of 1 000 French, this survey on the “junk food” list food fat, rich and sweet, the most popular by the French.
The result is that the chocolate carries it in front of the ice (98 %), chips (97 %), pizzas (96 %), cakes appetizers (94 %), sugar (89 %) and burgers (85 %). (It should be noted, however, that the dark chocolate to the high concentration of cocoa can not be considered to be junk food, unlike some tablets with milk or chocolate bars). The other interesting element of the study, it is the difference of feeling between men and women. If the latter are even more fun to eat this type of food, it is also home more often with shame.
Nutella, a victim of his bad image
“This feeling of guilt related to the violation of food standards is particularly strong in the ranks of women where adherence to standards of thinness and the importance of the aesthetics are particularly valued in the media and everyday discourse”analyses the Fifg. Among the foods that are the most guilty, the dough spreads out sweets and potato chips. A negative image linked to its impact on health (about 50 % of sugar content) and the environment (the presence of palm oil).
