Police hunt ‘Tube toucher’ who assaulted two women on the London Underground

POLICE hunting a pervert dubbed the “Tube Toucher” have released pictures of a man they want to speak to.

In the first alleged attack, the suspect “inappropriately touched” a woman travelling on the Northern Line.

A second woman was indecently assaulted on a Tube running between Bank and Oval stations, which are also on the Northern Line.

The alleged victims reported the incidents to British Transport Police but on both occasions the suspect managed to escape into the crowds.

Today the police released photos of a man after the victims helped BTP trawl through hours of CCTV footage.

One alleged attack happened on an Underground train between London Bridge and Bank stations at 9.40am on Friday, November 29, 2018.

A BTP spokesman said: “A man is reported to have inappropriately touched a woman. He then left the train at Bank station.

“It followed another report of sexual assault between Oval and Bank stations at 10.02am on Thursday, October 11, 2018.

“We believe the man shown in these CCTV images may have information which could help our investigation.”
