Police launch Twitter appeal to trace mystery bride and groom pictured on lost camera in Edinburgh

SHARING a celebratory couple of pints, this smiling bridge and groom look thrilled on their special day.

But who they are, and the whereabouts of the photographer who owns the camera which snapped the mystery couple has got police intrigued.

Officers are keen to reunite the camera with the owner who snapped the happy couple as they were enjoying a pint at their happy occasion

So officers in Edinburgh have turned to social media to try and track down the device’s owner.

To help them do so, police have released photos of the unknown bride and groom, who were found pictured on a lost camera in Edinburgh.

One picture released via the force’s Twitter account shows the couple in a car, while in the other they are pictured holding pint glasses.

Police recovered the camera about October 3.

The image has already been retweeted dozens of times.

Officers said: “Here comes the appeal – We’ve recovered a camera we hope to return to its rightful owner.

“We hope these photos of the happy couple taken with the camera will help.”

Anyone who knows the bride or groom is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 1430 of October 3.
