The Duke of Sussex was pictured beaming as he accepted a gift from a young fan and stopped to chat before saying thank you with a handshake.

Today’s lunch was in aid of three national charities: ABF The Soldiers’ Charity, the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity and the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund.

EXCITED DAD-TO-BE

While the Prince left the event, he was asked by the wife of a serviceman if he was looking forward to the upcoming birth of his child, MailOnline reports.

Beaming, Harry told her: “Of course I am excited, very excited.”

The bash was close to the Duke’s heart as he served in Household Cavalry division The Blues and Royals for ten years – taking in two tours of Afghanistan.

The Lord Mayor’s lunch was the first appearance of the day for dad-to-be who will also attend the premiere of Our Planet with Prince Charles and Prince William.

Despite wife Meghan Markle, 37, being heavily pregnant the royal couple have remained committed to public life.

BAN FORTNITE

Yesterday Harry urged parents to protect their kids from violent video games – slamming Fortnite as “addictive” and “irresponsible”.

The game has millions of fans across the globe and sees players hunt for weapons to kill each other.

Speaking to mental health experts at a summit in west London, he said: “That game shouldn’t be allowed. Where is the benefit of having it in your household?

“It’s created to addict, an addiction to keep you in front of a computer for as long as possible. It’s so irresponsible.
“Parents have got their hands up – they don’t know what to do about it. It’s like waiting for the damage to be done.”
