PRINCESS Diana’s former butler has urged Prince Harry to pay tribute to his late mum by naming his baby after her.
Paul Burrell, who was decribed by Diana as her “rock”, said the Duke and Duchess of Sussex should be “brave” and make the People’s Princess “proud” with their name choice.

The former butler gushed on Twitter: “Dear Meghan and Harry, Many Congratulations to you both on your wonderful news.
“Australia has taken you to their hearts and have seen at first hand the inspirational people you are.
“If your baby is a girl, be brave and call her Diana which would make your Mother so proud.”
Paul sent his heartfelt message as the parents-to-be are undertaking their 16-day royal tour down under.
He even predicted the former American actress would be pregnant within the first year of the marriage.
Before the news was announced that Meghan is expecting, Paul said: “Time is marching on and Harry does want a family.
“I think there’s not much time left for Meghan. She’s got to get on with it. Two [children] would be enough for Harry.”
Paul served as a footman for Queen Elizabeth II and butler to Diana, Princess of Wales, and became a close confidante of the princess.

As a British Royal Household servant, the butler is said to have witnessed Prince Charles’s secret meetings and phone calls with Camilla, while still married to the People’s Princess, the Daily Mail reported.
The former royal butler previously said Meghan would cause “ripples in the royal pond” after her star-studded wedding to Prince Harry at Windsor Castle.
Speaking on This Morning, he said: “She is all of the things that the Royal Family is frightened off.
“She’s mixed race, she’s American, she’s a divorcee and that is everything that we have to embrace to move forward.”

Burrell infuriated Buckingham Palace after it emerged he secretly copied letters between her and other members of the Royal Family.
In 2001, police arrested Burrell and raided his Cheshire home over claims he had taken items belonging to Diana, Prince William and Prince Charles including CDs, LPs, photo albums and designer clothes.
He told the hearing it was for “historical importance”, but was accused of being a “porous rock”.
Burrell was eventually charged with three counts of theft, but the case collapsed after just nine days after the Queen intervened to halt the trial.
