SEX Pistols rocker John Lydon has revealed his heartbreak over Keith Flint’s death and said the “unloved” Prodigy frontman was “destroyed by being alone”.
Lydon, 63 – once known as Johnny Rotten – said he was good friends with the rave icon, 49, who was found hanged on Monday.

Speaking to TMZ at the premiere of the ‘Punk’ docuseries at Hollywood’s SIR Studios, Lydon said Flint’s death should serve as a “wake-up call” to the music industry.
Lydon said: “My heart is broken for him. He was a good friend of mine. Don’t get me wrong but nobody loved him and he was left alone and he got destroyed.
“Why? Why do so many people in this industry be left alone? Come to me, I’m Johnny.
“What you got to understand is we are not looking after each other anymore and we should.
“Any of you out there need help, come talk to me. We do not need to die.”
It comes after The Sun spoke to pals who claimed Flint begged his estranged wife Mayumi Kai to come home days before he died.
He was found dead at their Essex farmhouse Monday morning. The property had just gone on the market.
He is said to have delayed selling it as he had hoped for a reconciliation with Mayumi, 31, after splitting last year.
A source said: “Keith always hoped they could make it work and he made various phone calls to her, pleading with her.
“But she didn’t change her mind and insisted they sell the house. It broke Keith. Mayumi isn’t to blame but it seems that Keith didn’t think he could carry on without her.”

An employee is believed to have found Keith’s body at the £1.5million marital home in Dunmow, Essex. He ran 5k in Chelmsford on Saturday morning but pals feared he had slipped back to his hedonistic ways.
Footage also emerged showing him appearing to black out before being held up by security guards at the Prodigy’s last-known UK gig in Brighton last November.
Fan Kenneth Edwards, 52, said it looked like he was “on some sort of drugs”, adding: “I’ve been to a lot of his concerts and not seen that before. It was shocking to see.”
