A cleaning lady has been rescued by firefighters after spending all weekend trapped in the elevator of a $20million Manhattan townhouse.
The FDNY responded to 48 East 65th Street on the Upper East Side just after 10 a.m. on Monday and rescued the woman, who was stuck between the second and third floors of the townhouse.
It is believed the woman had been trapped since Friday.

Authorities say no one else was home while she was working in the private townhouse which last sold to Arkansas based billionaire Warren Stephens, 61, and his wife Harriet in 1999.
It’s thought she was discovered by the owners who came back into the property on Monday morning and realized she was trapped.

The property is one block from Central Park and near to Madison Avenue.
Following the rescue she was taken to the hospital. She is listed as in a good condition.
Mr. and Mrs Stephens were not immediately available for comment.
The townhouse is currently surrounded by scaffolding, the woman was stuck between the second and third floors
