RICHARD Madeley stunned Good Morning Britain viewers this morning when he revealed he likes to go commando.
The host, 62, made the candid revelation during a segment focusing on a poll claiming 80 per cent of men keep their underwear for 10 years.

Richard’s stark words, was too much for many viewers.
One wrote on Twitter: “Richard madeley goes commando – FAR TOO MUCH INFO FOR 6.09 @gmb .”
Another posted: “”First Madeley calls Kate babe then he swears then he admits to not wearing underwear.. So does he have his suit cleaned every day? Surely that’s why people wear underwear.. Yuck… Sorry i tried for 10 minutes and it’s just unbearable.. Off back to Sky news again!”

The host also tried to explain fake tan fail last week which left him looking “like a pumpkin.”
He told Kate and Charlotte Hawkins that he confused either his daughter Chloe or wife Judy’s old fake tan for aftershave and proceeded to splash it freely on his face.

It gradually developed through the morning, leaving him with an orange tan.
However, not everyone bought the explanation.
One viewer said: “First 5 mins spent on Madley explaining his tan was a result of mistaking tanning lotion for after shave – yer right!”
Last week Richard apologised for his “pumpkin-like” tan after a guest asked if he’d been to Barbados.
He trended on Twitter after he appeared on screen with a deep orange glow and white ears.
Socialite and Made In Chelsea star Mark-Francis Vandelli was impressed during their chat and said: “Were you in Barbados or Mystique? You’ve got a fantastic colour.”
Shocked Richard explained: “Well I was in the south of France for two weeks and just got back a few days ago.
“But I agree with you it’s looking a bit orange today. It can only be make-up I think? There is a tan underneath it. Sorry everybody if it’s a bit pumpkin-like! I’ll take it down. I’ll wash it off.”
The legendary host, who has been compared to Steve Coogan’s alter ego Alan Partridge, also stunned viewers when he interviewed a Britain’s Got Talent act comprised of kids and told them their performance “wasn’t perfect”.
