TEMPERS are set to flare in the beIN SPORTS studio tonight with Jose Mourinho and Arsene Wenger drafted in to provide expert analysis on the Champions League final.
The two men were once famous rivals when they competed against each other in the Premier League, with the Special One once labelling the ex-Arsenal boss as a “voyeur”.
Speaking in October 2005, the former Chelsea manager said: “I think he is one of these people who is a voyeur.
“He likes to watch other people. There are some guys who, when they are at home, they have a big telescope to see what happens in other families.”
While in 2013, Wenger claimed Mourinho was putting down the Blues’ chances of winning the Prem title due to a “fear in failure”.
Mourinho instantly hit back. as he declared: “If he is right and I am afraid of failure it is because I didn’t fail many times. Eight years without silverware, that’s failure.
“He’s a specialist in failure. If I do that in Chelsea, eight years, I leave and don’t come back.”
But the pair seemed to have ended their bitter feud earlier this year after Mourinho lauded Wenger after the Frenchman received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Laureus World Sports Awards.
Speaking of his relationship with the ex-Monaco gaffer, he said: “There were some episodes along the road.
“I can only speak by myself. I really enjoyed the competition. But the real respect is always there. He made lots of history in that football club.
