Rocket attack at foreign oil HQ in Iraq after three explosions rock Basra site sparking evacuation

A ROCKET attack has caused three massive explosions to rock the foreign oil HQ at the Iraqi city of Basra this morning.

Two Iraqi staff have been injured in the blasts, according to police and Iraqi officials.

Companies working at the site of the attack include oil giants Exxonmobil, Shell and Dutch firm ENI.

Exxon is evacuating its 20 foreign staff from Basra after the attack, security sources said.

The attack was announced just after 5am BST, although further details are sparse.
