SOMETHING’S afoot — and it’s not just Sir Rod Stewart’s new album.

The singer, 73, wore a large foot brace this week as he launched Blood Red Roses in London’s Oxford Street.

He said he fell on a “big lump of concrete”.

Sir Rod also put his success down to his hair, telling BBC Radio London: “It might have hindered me somewhat but I like to think songwriting is not just for young people, or for guys with a great Barnet like I have got.”
