THE newest member of the royal family still hasn’t met some of his nearest relatives including Charles, Camilla, Wills and Kate.
Archie Harrison was born at 5.26am on Monday morning but almost a week later the seventh in line to the throne still hasn’t had visits from his aunt, uncle, and grandfather.
The royal family has frequently surprised observers with their frosty reserve.
Charles and Camilla returned home from their four-day Brexit tour to Germany.
They were hoping to pop into Frogmore Cottage yesterday or today but apparently now cannot go until next week.
Wills and Kate said on Tuesday they “couldn’t wait to meet” their new nephew.
At the Cutty Sark William said: “We’re thrilled, absolutely thrilled and obviously looking forward to seeing them in the next few days when things have quietened down.
“I’m very pleased and glad to welcome my brother to the sleep deprivation society that is parenting, so yeah, I’ll be looking forward to that.”
But the Cambridges have still not, despite other family members visiting.
Harry and Meghan introduced Archie to the Queen and Prince Philip on Wednesday.
The historic picture, taken by their wedding photographer Chris Allerton, also showed Meghan’s mum Doria Ragland.
She was the first to meet baby Archie as she’s been staying with them at Frogmore Cottage and accompanied them to the Portland hospital last Sunday.

Charles is hoping to see his new grandson next week.
A Clarence House spokesman said that Charles and Camilla would visit Archie in the coming days.
A spokesman for the Sussexes, said plans were on the diary for Kate, William, Charles and Camilla all to visit Frogmore Cottage.

LEGOLAND Windsor has made a tiny version of baby Sussex.
Model makers at the theme park created a 1in tall Archie Harrison beside a teddy bear figurine inside a 50-brick pram.
A LEGO Meghan and Harry stand either side of their new arrival alongside Miniland’s 39,960 LEGO brick Windsor Castle.
The models are coloured to match the outfits and hair of the Duke and Duchess of Suffolk at their first official photo at the royal residence in Berkshire.
